Description

A light, creamy dessert that tastes like sunshine, made with ripe mangoes and whipped cream, perfect for summer days or festive gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 ripe mangoes
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon gelatin (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons water (if using gelatin)

Instructions

  1. Start by peeling and dicing the mangoes into small pieces.
  2. Place the mango pieces in a blender and puree until smooth.
  3. In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream with the sugar and vanilla until soft peaks form.
  4. If using gelatin, dissolve it in water and let it cool slightly before mixing it into the mango puree.
  5. Gently fold the whipped cream into the mango mixture until everything is fully incorporated and creamy.
  6. Pour the mousse into serving cups and refrigerate for at least 120 minutes. Serve chilled and enjoy!

Notes

For an elegant presentation, serve in clear dessert cups and garnish with fresh mint, mango slices, or shredded coconut.
