Description

A refreshing twist on pizza featuring artichoke hearts, peppery arugula, and zesty lemon.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pizza dough
  • 1 cup artichoke hearts, chopped
  • 1 cup fresh arugula
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1 lemon (zested and juiced)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: Grated Parmesan cheese for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C).
  2. Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface, shaping it to your desired thickness.
  3. Transfer the dough onto a baking sheet or a pizza stone.
  4. Combine the chopped artichoke hearts, lemon juice, olive oil, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  5. Spread the artichoke mixture evenly over the rolled-out pizza dough.
  6. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese on top of the mixture.
  7. Bake in your preheated oven for about 10-12 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly.
  8. Remove the pizza from the oven and top it with fresh arugula.
  9. Drizzle with lemon zest and, if you like, sprinkle on some grated Parmesan cheese.
  10. Slice and serve warm, enjoying the fresh flavors immediately!
