- 1 pizza dough
- 1 cup artichoke hearts, chopped
- 1 cup fresh arugula
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1 lemon (zested and juiced)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: Grated Parmesan cheese for topping
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C).
- Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface, shaping it to your desired thickness.
- Transfer the dough onto a baking sheet or a pizza stone.
- Combine the chopped artichoke hearts, lemon juice, olive oil, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Spread the artichoke mixture evenly over the rolled-out pizza dough.
- Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese on top of the mixture.
- Bake in your preheated oven for about 10-12 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly.
- Remove the pizza from the oven and top it with fresh arugula.
- Drizzle with lemon zest and, if you like, sprinkle on some grated Parmesan cheese.
- Slice and serve warm, enjoying the fresh flavors immediately!
