Description

A bright and flavorful Korean dish featuring sautéed zucchini with garlic and sesame oil, perfect as a side for any meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 medium zucchinis
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Start by washing the zucchinis. Slice them thinly to ensure they cook evenly.
  2. In a pan, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat.
  3. Once the oil is shimmering, add the minced garlic. Sauté for about 30 seconds, just until fragrant.
  4. Toss the sliced zucchinis into the pan. Stir-fry for about 5 minutes, allowing them to become tender but still slightly crisp.
  5. Pour in the soy sauce, drizzle the sesame oil, and season with salt and pepper. Stir well to combine all the flavors.
  6. Just before serving, sprinkle the dish with sesame seeds for a lovely crunch.
  7. Serve warm as a delicious side dish.

Notes

For added flavor, consider garnishing with green onions or chili flakes.
