Description

A fun twist on classic grilled cheese featuring gooey melted cheese and sweet blueberries.


Ingredients

  • 2 slices of bread (whole grain, sourdough, or white)
  • 1 cup of shredded cheese (mozzarella or cheddar)
  • 1/2 cup of fresh blueberries
  • 1 tablespoon of butter
  • 1 teaspoon of honey (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Spread butter on one side of each slice of bread.
  3. Layer shredded cheese and fresh blueberries on the unbuttered side of one slice, drizzle with honey if desired, and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  4. Place the second slice of bread on top, ensuring the buttered side is facing up.
  5. Cook in the skillet for about 3-4 minutes until golden brown, then flip and cook until the other side is golden and the cheese is melted.
  6. Plate your sandwich and enjoy warm!
