Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Sift together the flour, matcha powder, and salt in one bowl.
  3. Cream the softened butter and sugar together in a separate bowl until light and fluffy.
  4. Mix in the egg and vanilla extract (if using) until well combined.
  5. Gradually incorporate the dry mixture into the wet, stirring until just combined.
  6. Scoop portions of dough onto a parchment-lined baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
