- 1 1/4 cups Butter (melted)
- 1 1/2 cups Quick oats
- 2 1/4 cups All-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 cups Brown sugar
- 1/4 cup Butter (melted)
- 1 cup Brown sugar
- 1/4 cup Milk
- 2 teaspoons Vanilla extract
- 2 tablespoons Flour
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Combine 1 1/4 cups melted butter, quick oats, 2 1/4 cups flour, and 1 1/2 cups brown sugar in a mixing bowl. Stir until well mixed.
- Press half of the mixture firmly into the bottom of a greased baking pan.
- Mix together 1/4 cup melted butter, 1 cup brown sugar, 1/4 cup milk, 2 teaspoons vanilla extract, and 2 tablespoons flour until smooth in another bowl.
- Pour the caramel mixture over the pressed oat layer in the pan.
- Crumble the remaining oat mixture on top, spreading evenly.
- Bake for 25–30 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
- Let cool before slicing into bars.
Notes
Store in an airtight container for up to a week or freeze for up to three months.
