Description

A delightful dish that balances the savory flavor of shrimp with the sweetness of a creamy sauce, perfect for impressing family and friends.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1/2 cup walnuts
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Oil for frying
  • Cooked rice for serving

Instructions

  1. Toast the walnuts in a skillet with oil over medium heat until golden, then remove and set aside.
  2. Mix the sauce by combining mayonnaise, honey, sweetened condensed milk, lemon juice, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  3. Fry the shrimp in the same skillet until they are golden and crispy, about 2-3 minutes on each side.
  4. Combine the shrimp with the sauce until they are evenly coated.
  5. Serve the shrimp over cooked rice and garnish with toasted walnuts.

Notes

Feel free to substitute walnuts with pecans or use Greek yogurt instead of mayonnaise for a lighter option.
