Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease three 8-inch round cake pans.
  2. Cream the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.
  3. Incorporate the eggs one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract.
  4. Mix the dry ingredients in a separate bowl.
  5. Combine the dry ingredients with the butter mixture, alternating with milk.
  6. Divide the batter evenly into the prepared cake pans and bake for 25-30 minutes.
