- 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh burger buns
- Crisp lettuce
- Fresh tomato
- Other toppings as desired (avocado, cheese, pickles)
Instructions
- Combine the ground turkey, honey, Dijon mustard, olive oil, garlic powder, and onion powder in a large mixing bowl. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Divide the mixture into equal portions and form each into a patty slightly larger than the burger buns.
- Preheat the grill or skillet to medium heat, adding a drizzle of olive oil for a non-stick surface if using a skillet.
- Cook patties for about 5-7 minutes on each side until golden-brown and cooked through at an internal temperature of 165°F.
- Serve each patty on a burger bun topped with fresh lettuce, juicy tomato, and your choice of additional toppings.
Notes
For extra moisture, add Greek yogurt or shredded cheese to the mixture. To add heat, mix in chopped jalapeños or hot sauce.
