Description
Sweet and savory grilled kabobs made with marinated chicken and vibrant vegetables, perfect for summer cookouts or casual weeknight dinners.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb chicken breast, cubed
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Wooden or metal skewers
- Vegetables for skewering (such as bell peppers, onions, and zucchini)
Instructions
- Whisk together the honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, olive oil, rice vinegar, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Add the cubed chicken to the marinade, making sure each piece is well-coated. Allow the chicken to marinate for at least 30 minutes (or up to 2 hours in the fridge for more flavor).
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
- Thread the marinated chicken and your choice of vegetables onto skewers alternately.
- Grill the skewers for about 10-15 minutes, turning them occasionally until the chicken is cooked through.
- Remove the kabobs from the grill and serve warm.
Notes
For added kick, sprinkle red pepper flakes in the marinade. Soak wooden skewers in water for 30 minutes to prevent burning.
