Description

A comforting and budget-friendly meal featuring ground turkey and tender potatoes, perfect for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 2 large potatoes, diced
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth (optional)
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Sauté the chopped onions and minced garlic until they become translucent and aromatic.
  3. Add the ground turkey to the skillet. Cook it until it’s browned and fully cooked through.
  4. Stir in the diced potatoes along with the salt, pepper, paprika, and oregano, mixing everything thoroughly.
  5. If you’re using chicken broth, add it now. Cover the skillet and cook for about 15-20 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender.
  6. Be sure to stir occasionally to ensure nothing sticks to the bottom of the skillet.
  7. Once everything is cooked, garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

Prepping ingredients ahead of time can save cooking time. Don’t skip the seasoning for added flavor.
