Description
A quick and healthy grilled tuna steak recipe that’s perfect for summer barbecues or easy weeknight dinners.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 tuna steaks
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Whisk together the olive oil, soy sauce, lemon juice, garlic powder, salt, and pepper to create the marinade.
- Place the tuna steaks into the marinade, ensuring they are well-coated. Let them soak for at least 15 minutes.
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
- Remove the tuna from the marinade. Grill the steaks for about 2-3 minutes on each side for a rare center.
- Serve immediately to enjoy the fresh flavors.
Notes
For a nuttier flavor, you can swap olive oil with sesame oil, or use lime juice instead of lemon. To prevent tuna from drying out when reheating, warm gently in a skillet over low heat.
