Description

A quick and healthy grilled tuna steak recipe that’s perfect for summer barbecues or easy weeknight dinners.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 tuna steaks
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Whisk together the olive oil, soy sauce, lemon juice, garlic powder, salt, and pepper to create the marinade.
  2. Place the tuna steaks into the marinade, ensuring they are well-coated. Let them soak for at least 15 minutes.
  3. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  4. Remove the tuna from the marinade. Grill the steaks for about 2-3 minutes on each side for a rare center.
  5. Serve immediately to enjoy the fresh flavors.

Notes

For a nuttier flavor, you can swap olive oil with sesame oil, or use lime juice instead of lemon. To prevent tuna from drying out when reheating, warm gently in a skillet over low heat.
