- 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 pineapple, cut into chunks
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
- Skewers (wooden or metal)
Instructions
- Whisk together the soy sauce, brown sugar, rice vinegar, sesame oil, minced garlic, and ginger to create your flavorful teriyaki sauce.
- Place the shrimp in the bowl and marinate them for at least 15 minutes.
- Preheat your grill to medium heat.
- Thread the marinated shrimp and pineapple chunks onto the skewers, alternating between each.
- Grill the skewers for 2-3 minutes per side or until the shrimp turn pink and opaque.
- Brush the skewers with any remaining teriyaki sauce during grilling.

Notes
For best results, soak wooden skewers in water for at least 30 minutes before grilling to prevent burning.
