Description

Delight in the sweetness of grilled peaches, caramelized with cinnamon and brown sugar for a simple yet impressive summertime dessert.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 Fresh peaches
  • 2 tablespoons Brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Ground cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons Butter (optional)
  • Vanilla ice cream or yogurt (for serving, if desired)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your grill to medium heat, around 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare the peaches by slicing them in half and removing the pits.
  3. Brush the cut sides lightly with melted butter if using.
  4. Sprinkle the cut sides with brown sugar and a dash of cinnamon.
  5. Place the peaches cut-side down on the grill. Close the lid and grill for about 4-5 minutes.
  6. Flip the peaches over and grill for another 3-4 minutes, until they’re tender and have grill marks.
  7. Remove from the grill and let them rest for a minute.

Notes

Optional additions include honey instead of brown sugar or nutmeg for extra flavor. Pair with grilled meats or a refreshing salad for a delightful meal.
