A sweet and creamy Classic Concord Grape Cream Pie that captures the essence of fresh grapes in every bite.

- 1 cup Concord grape juice
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 3 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 cup heavy whipped cream
- 1 pre-baked pie crust
Instructions
- In a saucepan, combine the grape juice, sugar, cornstarch, and salt. Mix well.
- Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture thickens, about 5-7 minutes.
- Once thickened, remove the saucepan from heat and add the lemon juice and butter. Give it a stir and allow it to cool to room temperature.
- Pour the cooled grape mixture into your pre-baked pie crust, spreading it evenly.
- In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until you achieve stiff peaks. Gently spread it over the cooled pie filling.
- Chill the pie in the refrigerator for at least 120 minutes before serving.
Notes
Feel free to use fresh grape juice or any other grape juice. This pie can be made a day in advance for better flavor melding.
