Description

A delightful blend of succulent shrimp, rich garlic butter, and zesty lemon, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1/2 cup white wine or chicken broth
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Pasta, for serving (optional)

Instructions

  1. Begin by melting the butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  3. If you enjoy a bit of heat, sprinkle in the red pepper flakes and stir.
  4. Add the peeled shrimp to the skillet, cooking for about 2-3 minutes on each side until they turn pink and opaque.
  5. Pour in the white wine (or chicken broth) and squeeze in the fresh lemon juice, stirring to combine.
  6. Allow the sauce to simmer for 2-3 minutes until it thickens slightly.
  7. Stir in the fresh parsley and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Serve the luxurious shrimp immediately over pasta if desired.

Notes

For added flavor, consider using seafood stock instead of plain broth. Fresh shrimp is recommended for the best taste.
