  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 4 large eggs

  • 8 slices thick-cut bread (Challah or brioche)
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • Maple syrup (for serving)
  • Powdered sugar (for garnish)
  • Fresh fruit (strawberries or blueberries)
  • Whipped cream (optional)

Instructions

  1. Marinate the chicken in a mixture of buttermilk, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Prepare the French toast mixture by whisking together eggs, milk, and vanilla extract in a bowl.
  3. Cook the marinated chicken by dredging it in flour, dipping it back in the buttermilk, and coating with breadcrumbs before frying in a skillet until golden brown.
