- 1/4 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour

- 1/2 cup jam (choose your favorite flavor)
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar (for dusting)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Cream the softened butter with the granulated and brown sugars until light and fluffy.
- Mix in the vanilla extract until well combined.
- Gradually add the flour and salt, mixing until the dough just comes together.
- Roll small balls of dough (about 1 inch in diameter) and arrange them on the baking sheet, spacing them apart.
- Use your thumb or the back of a teaspoon to create an indentation in each cookie.
- Fill each indentation with approximately one teaspoon of jam.
- Bake for 15-18 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
- Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
- Dust with powdered sugar before serving to add an elegant touch!
