Description

A quick and flavorful Turkish dish featuring marinated chicken thighs in a yogurt and spice mixture, perfect for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 chicken thighs
  • 1 cup plain yogurt
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh herbs for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Combine the yogurt, minced garlic, olive oil, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper in a medium-sized bowl to form the marinade.
  2. Add the chicken thighs, coating them thoroughly. Cover and refrigerate for at least 15 minutes.
  3. Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. Remove the chicken from the marinade and allow excess to drip off. Cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side until fully cooked.
  5. Garnish with fresh herbs if desired and serve immediately.

Notes

Marinate longer for deeper flavor. You can substitute Greek yogurt or skinless chicken breasts if desired.
