Description

A luxurious and simple recipe for succulent, buttery lobster tails made in the Instant Pot, perfect for impressing guests or treating yourself.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 lobster tails
  • 4 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon pepper
  • 1 cup water

Instructions

  1. Prepare the lobster tails: cut the top of the shell down the center with kitchen shears.
  2. Combine melted butter, lemon juice, minced garlic, paprika, salt, and pepper in a mixing bowl.
  3. Place the lobster tails on the steam rack of the Instant Pot, making sure they’re elevated above the water.
  4. Pour in 1 cup of water to create steam during cooking.
  5. Brush the lobster tails generously with your prepared butter mixture.
  6. Close the Instant Pot lid securely and set the valve to sealing. Cook on high pressure for 3-5 minutes.
  7. Perform a quick release by turning the valve to venting once cooking is complete.
  8. Remove the lobster tails using tongs and transfer them to a plate. Serve immediately with remaining melted butter for dipping.

Notes

Feel free to experiment with the butter mixture by adding herbs like parsley or thyme for additional flavor.
