Ingredients
- Flatbread
- Tomato sauce (store-bought or homemade)
- Mozzarella cheese (fresh or shredded)
- Fresh basil leaves
- Olive oil
- Salt
- Pepper
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Place the flatbread flat on a baking sheet.
- Spread a generous layer of tomato sauce over the surface of the flatbread.
- Evenly sprinkle the mozzarella cheese on top of the sauce.
- Add fresh basil leaves for extra flavor.
- Drizzle with olive oil, and season with salt and pepper.
- Bake in the oven for 8-10 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Slice into pieces and serve warm.
Notes
For added flavor, try sprinkling red pepper flakes or drizzling pesto before serving. This flatbread is also great with a selection of dipping sauces.
