Description

Ingredients

  • 1 medium head of cabbage
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 46 cloves of garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Optional herbs: Fresh parsley, thyme, or red pepper flakes

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Slice the cabbage head into 1-inch thick steaks.
  3. Melt the butter in a saucepan over low heat and add the minced garlic. Sauté for about a minute, until fragrant.
  4. Arrange the cabbage steaks on a baking sheet and generously brush them with the garlic butter mixture.
  5. Sprinkle salt and pepper on top to taste.
  6. Roast in the oven for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  7. Broil for an additional 2-3 minutes for crispy finish.
  8. Garnish with fresh herbs and serve warm.
