- 2 slices of bread (sourdough or whole grain)
- 2 slices of cheddar cheese (sharp or mild)
- 2 tablespoons blackberry jam
- 1 tablespoon balsamic glaze
- Butter for spreading
Instructions
- Spread butter on one side of each slice of bread.
- Layer cheddar cheese, blackberry jam, and balsamic glaze on the unbuttered side of one slice of bread.
- Place the second slice on top with the buttered side facing up.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and add the sandwich to the pan.
- Cook until the bread is golden and crispy, about 3-4 minutes per side.
- Slice the sandwich in half and serve warm.
