Indulge in the creamy richness of Dulce de Leche Cheesecake Bars with a buttery graham cracker crust and velvety cheesecake filling.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 2 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup dulce de leche
- 1/2 cup sour cream
Instructions
- Preheat the Oven: Start by preheating your oven to 350ยฐF (175ยฐC). Grease a 9ร9 inch baking pan to prepare for your delicious layers.
- Make the Crust: In a mixing bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs, 1/3 cup of sugar, and melted butter. Make sure everything is mixed together well, then press this mixture firmly into the bottom of your prepared baking pan.
- Prepare the Filling: In a separate bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, 1 cup of sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth. Add the eggs one at a time, ensuring each egg is fully incorporated before adding the next.
- Layer it Up: Pour half of the cream cheese mixture over the crust. Gently drizzle half of the dulce de leche on top. Repeat this process with the remaining cream cheese mixture and the rest of the dulce de leche.
- Bake: Place the pan in your preheated oven and bake for 30โ35 minutes, or until the filling is set in the center.
- Cool and Chill: Once done, allow the bars to cool before transferring them to the refrigerator. Chill for at least 240 minutes (4 hours) before slicing into squares and serving them chilled.
Notes
Serve topped with whipped cream or a sprinkle of sea salt for a gourmet touch. Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to a week.
