- 1 box (about 450 g / 16 oz) saltine crackers
- ½ cup (120 ml) vegetable oil
- 1 packet (about 20 g / 0.7 oz) dry dill seasoning mix
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon dried dill (optional, for extra flavor)
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 160°C (325°F) and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Place the saltine crackers in a large mixing bowl.
- In a separate small bowl, whisk together the vegetable oil, dill seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, dried dill (if using), black pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using).
- Pour the seasoned oil evenly over the crackers and gently toss them until every cracker is coated.
- Spread the crackers in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake them for 15–18 minutes, stirring halfway through, until they become fragrant and are lightly crisp.
- Remove from the oven and let them cool completely.
Notes
Serve with ranch dressing or as toppings for salads. Store leftovers in an airtight container.
