- 2 1/4 cups All-Purpose Flour
- 1/2 cup Unsweetened Dark Cocoa Powder
- 1 tsp Baking Soda
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 cup Unsalted Butter (room temperature)
- 1 cup Granulated Sugar
- 1 cup Light Brown Sugar (firmly packed)
- 2 Large Eggs (room temperature)
- 1 tbsp Vanilla Extract
- 1 1/2 cups Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
- 1/2 cup Chopped Walnuts (lightly toasted)
- 1/2 cup Dried Cranberries
Instructions
- Toast the walnuts in a skillet over medium heat for about 5 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 375ºF and prepare baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt in a medium bowl.
- Cream the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until fluffy.
- Add the eggs and vanilla, blending well.
- Combine the wet and dry ingredients until just mixed, then fold in the chocolate chips, walnuts, and cranberries.
- Form cookies and place on baking sheets, spacing them 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 8-10 minutes until set.
- Cool for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
Notes
Store cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week. For freshness, add a slice of bread to the container.
