- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 3 carrots, diced
- 3 potatoes, diced
- 4 cups beef broth
- 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 cup milk
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional toppings: sour cream, green onions, croutons
Instructions
- Brown the ground beef with the chopped onion in a skillet over medium heat until the beef is no longer pink. Drain any excess fat and transfer it to the Crock Pot.
- Add the diced carrots, potatoes, beef broth, garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce, and season with salt and pepper.
- Cover the Crock Pot and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
- Stir in the milk and shredded cheddar cheese about 30 minutes before serving. Allow it to melt and heat through.
- Serve hot, garnished with your choice of optional toppings like sour cream, chopped green onions, or croutons.
Notes
For a richer flavor, sautรฉ the onions and carrots with the beef before adding them to the Crock Pot. Adjust cooking time when using frozen vegetables.
