Description

A comforting side dish of crispy roasted potatoes slathered in melted cheddar cheese, perfect for any meal.


Ingredients

  • 2 pounds of potatoes (Yukon Gold or russet)
  • 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese
  • 3 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons of garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon of paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Wash and cut the potatoes into bite-sized cubes for even cooking.
  3. Toss the cubed potatoes with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  4. Spread the seasoned potatoes in a single layer on a baking sheet.
  5. Roast in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, until golden brown and crispy.
  6. Remove the pan from the oven, sprinkle cheddar cheese over the potatoes, and return to the oven for 5 minutes.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley, if desired, and serve warm.
