- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: Lemon zest or red pepper flakes for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Rinse and trim the green beans, removing any tough ends.
- Combine the green beans with olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and pepper in a large bowl. Toss to coat them evenly.
- Spread the green beans out in a single layer on a baking sheet.
- Roast in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, until the beans are tender and crispy.
- Take the pan out of the oven and sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese over the beans.
- Return to the oven for an additional 2-3 minutes to let the cheese melt.
- Serve hot, garnished with lemon zest or red pepper flakes, if desired.
Notes
For a spicier kick, add in crushed red pepper flakes. Experiment with different cheeses for added flavor.
