- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Oil for frying

- 1/4 cup honey
- 2–3 jalapenos, finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon butter
Instructions
- Marinate the chicken fillets in buttermilk for at least one hour.
- Mix the flour, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper for the coating.
- Heat oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat.
- Dredge each chicken fillet in the flour mixture and fry until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes on each side.
- Make the glaze by melting butter, adding honey and jalapenos, and simmering.
- Assemble the sandwich with fried chicken, buns, lettuce, tomatoes, and pickles, drizzling with glaze.
Notes
For extra crispiness, consider a double dredge of the chicken.
