Delicious crab cakes with crispy cheddar flavor for any occasion.
Ingredients

- 1 lb lump crab meat
- 1 cup crushed crackers
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 large egg
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp Old Bay seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Oil for frying
- Chopped parsley (for garnish)
- Lemon wedges (for serving)
Instructions
- Prepare the Mixture by gently folding the lump crab meat with the crushed crackers, shredded cheddar, mayonnaise, egg, green onions, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, Old Bay seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Form the Cakes into patties about 3 inches in diameter and 1 inch thick.
- Chill the Patties on a parchment-lined baking sheet, covered with plastic wrap, for at least 30 minutes.
- Heat the Oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Fry the Crab Cakes in batches for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy.
- Drain and Serve on a plate lined with paper towels alongside lemon wedges.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to three days or freeze uncooked patties.
