Description

Delightful crispy apple fries made in the air fryer, combining the sweetness of apples with a fun, fry-like texture. Quick and healthy treat for all occasions.


Ingredients

  • 2 large apples
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • Cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Core and slice the apples into thin wedges.
  3. In a bowl, mix together the flour, sugar, cinnamon, and cornstarch.
  4. Dip each apple slice into the melted butter, ensuring it’s thoroughly coated.
  5. Coat the apple wedges with the flour mixture, shaking off any excess.
  6. Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray to prevent sticking.
  7. Arrange the coated apple wedges in a single layer within the basket.
  8. Air fry for 10-12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until they’re golden and crispy.
  9. Serve warm, with optional caramel sauce for dipping!

Notes

Best enjoyed fresh. Can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for a couple of days. Reheat in the air fryer for best results.
