Description
A quick, satisfying meal featuring tender pasta, lean turkey, and vibrant spinach in a rich, creamy sauce.
Ingredients
Scale
- 8 oz pasta (your choice: penne, fusilli, or spaghetti)
- 1 lb ground turkey
- 2 cups fresh spinach
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil
Instructions
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Once done, drain and set it aside.
- In a large skillet, heat a drizzle of olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until it’s fragrant.
- Next, add the ground turkey to the skillet. Cook until browned, seasoning generously with salt and pepper.
- Incorporate the fresh spinach into the skillet, cooking until it wilts. This should only take a minute or two.
- Pour in the heavy cream and bring everything to a gentle simmer. Stir in the cooked pasta and add the Parmesan cheese, mixing well to combine.
- Serve warm, garnished with additional cheese if desired!
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days. Reheat on the stove over low heat, adding a splash of milk or cream to revive the sauce’s creamy texture.
