Ingredients

  • 1 pound of mushrooms (cleaned and sliced if large)
  • 3 tablespoons of butter
  • 4 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 cup of heavy cream
  • 1 cup of grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Clean the mushrooms. If they’re large, slice them for even cooking.
  2. Melt the butter in a skillet over medium heat.
  3. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute, until fragrant but not burned.
  4. Toss in the mushrooms and cook for 5-7 minutes, until they soften and turn golden brown.
  5. Pour in the heavy cream and allow it to come to a gentle simmer.
  6. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and keep simmering until the sauce thickens.
  7. Season to taste with salt and pepper, giving it a final stir.
  8. Serve warm, garnished with fresh parsley.
