Description
A rich and creamy dish featuring tender mushrooms sautéed in garlic and combined with heavy cream and Parmesan cheese, perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound of mushrooms (cleaned and sliced if large)
- 3 tablespoons of butter
- 4 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 cup of heavy cream
- 1 cup of grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Clean the mushrooms. If they’re large, slice them for even cooking.
- Melt the butter in a skillet over medium heat.
- Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute, until fragrant but not burned.
- Toss in the mushrooms and cook for 5-7 minutes, until they soften and turn golden brown.
- Pour in the heavy cream and allow it to come to a gentle simmer.
- Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and keep simmering until the sauce thickens.
- Season to taste with salt and pepper, giving it a final stir.
- Serve warm, garnished with fresh parsley.
Notes
For extra depth, consider adding a splash of white wine after sautéing the garlic. Use fresh Parmesan cheese for richer flavor and adjust the sauce’s consistency with more cream if needed.
