- 1 cup orzo pasta
- 2 cups creamed corn
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup cooked salmon, flaked
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the orzo pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Stir in the creamed corn and heavy cream until well combined.
- Add the cooked orzo to the skillet and stir to coat it in the creamy mixture.
- Fold in the flaked salmon and season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Cook everything together for an additional 2-3 minutes until heated through.
- Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley.
Notes
For a lighter version, substitute heavy cream with half-and-half or milk. Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
