Description

Crispy, golden-brown dumplings filled with creamy lump crab meat and cheese, perfect for appetizers or snacks.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 wonton wrappers
  • 1 cup lump crab meat (fresh or canned)
  • 4 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 2 green onions (finely chopped)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp soy sauce
  • Vegetable oil (for frying)

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine your softened cream cheese, lump crab meat, finely chopped green onions, garlic powder, and soy sauce. Mix until fully incorporated and creamy.
  2. Take one wonton wrapper and place about one tablespoon of the crab filling in the center. Moisten the edges with a little water to help seal the wrapper.
  3. Fold the wrapper diagonally to form a triangle, then press the edges tightly to seal. Repeat with the remaining wrappers and filling.
  4. In a deep skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches about 350°F (175°C).
  5. Fry the bombs in batches, around three to four at a time, until they turn golden brown and crispy, roughly 3-4 minutes per side. Drain on paper towels.

Notes

Serve with sweet and sour or spicy soy sauce. Best enjoyed fresh.
