Description
Crispy, golden-brown dumplings filled with creamy lump crab meat and cheese, perfect for appetizers or snacks.
Ingredients
Scale
- 12 wonton wrappers
- 1 cup lump crab meat (fresh or canned)
- 4 oz cream cheese (softened)
- 2 green onions (finely chopped)
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp soy sauce
- Vegetable oil (for frying)
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine your softened cream cheese, lump crab meat, finely chopped green onions, garlic powder, and soy sauce. Mix until fully incorporated and creamy.
- Take one wonton wrapper and place about one tablespoon of the crab filling in the center. Moisten the edges with a little water to help seal the wrapper.
- Fold the wrapper diagonally to form a triangle, then press the edges tightly to seal. Repeat with the remaining wrappers and filling.
- In a deep skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches about 350°F (175°C).
- Fry the bombs in batches, around three to four at a time, until they turn golden brown and crispy, roughly 3-4 minutes per side. Drain on paper towels.
Notes
Serve with sweet and sour or spicy soy sauce. Best enjoyed fresh.
