Ingredients

- 1 cup Butter (Salted, Sweet Cream, Softened to Room Temperature)
- 2 cups Powdered Sugar
- 2 Large Eggs
- 2 tablespoons Instant Coffee dissolved in 1/4 cup water
- 1 1/2 tablespoons Half n’ Half
- 3 1/2 cups All-Purpose Flour
- 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
- 1/4 teaspoon Salt
- 1 batch of The Best Mocha Buttercream Frosting
- 1/4 cup melted Chocolate Chips
Instructions
- Cream the softened butter and powdered sugar together for about 3 minutes until light and fluffy.
- Add in the large eggs, mixing for an additional 3 minutes.
- Incorporate the dissolved instant coffee and half n’ half, mixing until well combined.
- Gradually add in the baking soda and salt, mixing thoroughly.
- Mix in the all-purpose flour until just combined.
- Refrigerate the dough for about 30 minutes.
- Roll the dough into balls and slightly flatten them on your baking sheet.
- Bake in an oven preheated to 350°F for 9-10 minutes.
- Cool the cookies on a wire rack before frosting.
- Drizzle the tops with melted chocolate chips for garnish.
Notes
Best served with a hot cup of coffee or a glass of cold milk. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week.
