Description

This Citrus Skirt Steak Marinade combines the zesty brightness of citrus with the rich flavor of skirt steak, creating a vibrant and unforgettable dish.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 1/4 cup lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 pound skirt steak

Instructions

  1. Whisk together the orange juice, lime juice, olive oil, minced garlic, cumin, salt, and black pepper in a bowl until well combined.
  2. Pour the marinade over the skirt steak in a resealable bag or dish.
  3. Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 120 minutes—preferably overnight for best results.
  4. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  5. Remove the steak from the marinade and discard the marinade.
  6. Grill the steak for about 3-4 minutes on each side or until it reaches your desired doneness.
  7. Let the steak rest for a few minutes before slicing it against the grain.

Notes

For an irresistible flavor, let the steak marinate overnight and use a meat thermometer to check for doneness.
