Description

Deliciously rich chocolate peanut butter cookies that are easy to make and irresistible.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 3/4 cup white sugar
  • 1/3 cup butter (softened)
  • 1/4 cup peanut butter
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • Extra white sugar (for dusting)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Whisk together the all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt in a bowl. Set it aside.
  3. Cream together the white sugar, softened butter, and peanut butter in the bowl of your stand mixer until light and smooth.
  4. Beat in the egg until well incorporated.
  5. Gradually add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing until everything comes together smoothly.
  6. Drop rounded mounds of dough onto a parchment paper-lined baking sheet using a tablespoon, pressing each mound down gently with a fork.
  7. Sprinkle a little extra sugar on top of each cookie for added sweetness.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 10 to 11 minutes.
  9. Transfer the cookies to a cooling rack to let them cool completely.

Notes

For a fun twist, try adding chopped peanuts or chocolate chips to the dough.
