Description

Deliciously soft cookies combining chocolate and strawberries, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 cup dried strawberries or fresh strawberries, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cream together softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth and creamy.
  3. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. Whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl.
  5. Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips and strawberries, mixing until evenly distributed.
  7. Drop tablespoonfuls of dough onto ungreased baking sheets, spacing them two inches apart.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until set but still soft.
  9. Allow to cool slightly on baking sheets before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.
  10. Dip cooled cookies into melted chocolate for an extra indulgent touch.
