Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Cream the softened butter with the brown and granulated sugars until the mixture is smooth.
- Beat in the eggs, one at a time, ensuring they’re well blended, then stir in the vanilla extract.
- Whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt in a separate bowl.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
- Fold in the chopped cherries and chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
- Spread the batter into the prepared baking dish, smoothing the top.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the edges turn golden and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
