Description

A delicious Chicken Caesar Sandwich that combines the flavors of a classic Caesar salad with the heartiness of a sandwich.


Ingredients

  • 2 slices of crusty bread
  • 1 cooked chicken breast, sliced
  • 1 cup romaine lettuce, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons Caesar dressing
  • Parmesan cheese, for garnish
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Start by toasting the slices of crusty bread until they’re golden brown.
  2. In a bowl, mix the chopped romaine lettuce with the Caesar dressing until the lettuce is well-coated.
  3. Lay the sliced chicken breast on top of one slice of toast.
  4. Generously pile on the dressed romaine lettuce.
  5. Sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top, and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Cap it off with the second slice of bread, slice it in half, and enjoy while it’s fresh!

Notes

For added flavor, toast the bread with garlic butter. Feel free to substitute grilled chicken with rotisserie chicken or use a vegan dressing.
