Description

Warm, flaky pastry filled with a creamy cheesecake filling, perfect for brunch or dessert.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 can of crescent roll dough
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp lemon juice
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • Powdered sugar (for dusting)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Combine the softened cream cheese, sugar, vanilla extract, and lemon juice in a mixing bowl. Beat until smooth and creamy.
  3. Roll out the crescent roll dough and separate the triangles.
  4. Spoon a generous amount of the cream cheese mixture onto the wider end of each triangle.
  5. Starting from the wide end, carefully roll up the dough to form a crescent shape.
  6. Place the rolls on the prepared baking sheet.
  7. Brush the tops of each roll with the beaten egg for a beautiful golden finish.
  8. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until they turn a delightful golden brown.
  9. Allow the rolls to cool slightly, then dust them with powdered sugar before serving.

Notes

Best enjoyed warm, can be served with fresh fruit or whipped cream.
