- 1 box graham crackers (about 12–14 full crackers)
- 1 can (21 oz) apple pie filling
- 1 package (3.4 oz) instant vanilla pudding mix
- 2 cups milk
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup caramel sauce (store-bought or homemade)
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare the pudding filling: In a large bowl, whisk together the instant vanilla pudding mix and milk until thickened. In another bowl, beat the heavy cream with the powdered sugar and vanilla extract until soft peaks form. Gently fold the whipped cream into the pudding mixture until well combined.
- Assemble the cake: In a 9×13 inch baking dish, lay down a layer of graham crackers. Spread half of the pudding filling over the crackers. Spoon half of the apple pie filling on top. Repeat with another layer of graham crackers, the remaining pudding filling, and the rest of the apple filling.
- Top with caramel: Drizzle the caramel sauce over the top of the assembled cake. If you’re feeling adventurous, sprinkle a little ground cinnamon for an extra flavor kick.
Notes
This dessert tastes even better the next day as the flavors meld together. Store it tightly covered in the fridge for up to three days.
