Description
A quick and easy recipe for buttery garlic noodles coated in Parmesan, perfect for busy weeknight dinners or family gatherings.
Ingredients
Scale
- 8 oz Spaghetti
- 4 tbsp Butter
- 4 cloves Garlic (minced)
- 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese (freshly grated)
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1/2 tsp Black pepper
- Parsley (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook the spaghetti: Boil a pot of salted water and cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until it’s al dente. Reserve a cup of pasta water before draining.
- Sauté the garlic: In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Once hot, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Combine: Drain the spaghetti and add it directly to the skillet with the garlic butter. Toss well to ensure the noodles are evenly coated.
- Add Parmesan: Sprinkle in the grated Parmesan cheese. If the mixture feels too dry, add a splash of reserved pasta water. Season with salt and black pepper to your liking.
- Garnish and serve: If desired, chop some fresh parsley and sprinkle it over the noodles before serving immediately.
Notes
For added protein, consider topping with grilled chicken or shrimp. Customize with other pasta shapes or herbs as desired.
