Ingredients
- Brussels sprouts
- Sourdough bread (for croutons)
- Olive oil
- Parmesan cheese
- Lemon juice
- Garlic, minced
- Anchovy paste (optional for traditional Caesar taste)
- Dijon mustard
- Worcestershire sauce
- Black pepper
- Salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400ยฐF (200ยฐC).
- Cut the sourdough bread into cubes, then toss them in a bowl with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Spread the cubes onto a baking sheet and bake for about 10-15 minutes until they are golden and crispy.
- While croutons are baking, finely shred the Brussels sprouts and place them in a large bowl.
- In another bowl, whisk together the Parmesan cheese, lemon juice, minced garlic, anchovy paste (if using), Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, black pepper, and salt to create your Caesar dressing.
- Once the croutons finish baking, let them cool slightly, then add them to the bowl with the shredded Brussels sprouts.
- Pour the dressing over the salad and toss everything together until evenly coated. Serve immediately for the best crunch!
