Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350ยฐF (175ยฐC) and grease a 9ร13 inch baking pan.
- Melt the brown butter in a saucepan for the blondie layer.
- Combine the melted brown butter with brown sugar and white sugar until mixed well.
- Add the eggs and vanilla extract, mixing thoroughly.
- Stir in the flour, baking soda, and salt until just combined, then fold in the chocolate chips.
- Spread the blondie batter evenly in the prepared pan.
- Mix cocoa powder, vegetable oil, and sugar in a new bowl for the brownie layer.
- Add eggs and vanilla extract to the mixture, mixing until smooth.
- Gradually add flour, baking powder, and salt, mixing until combined.
- Pour the brownie batter over the blondie layer and smooth it out.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out with a few crumbs.
- Cool completely before cutting into squares.
Notes
For a gluten-free variation, you can substitute almond flour. Store in an airtight container for up to a week.
