- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Stir in the vanilla extract.
- Whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt in a separate bowl.
- Incorporate the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
- Drop dough onto ungreased baking sheets, spacing them about two inches apart.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes or until edges are lightly golden.
- Cool the cookies completely on a wire rack.
- Sandwich whipped cream between two cookies.
- Melt dark chocolate chips with vegetable oil until smooth.
- Drizzle or dip the filled cookies in the chocolate glaze and let set before serving.
Notes
For a richer flavor, try browning the butter before mixing it with sugar.
