Description

A delightful blend of rich chocolate, creamy cheesecake, and sweet cherry goodness, these bars are perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups crushed graham crackers
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 2 cups cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup cherry pie filling
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (165°C).
  2. Combine the crushed graham crackers, sugar, and melted butter in a mixing bowl. Mix until well combined.
  3. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a greased 9×13 inch pan to form the crust.
  4. Beat the softened cream cheese in a large bowl until smooth. Gradually add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract, mixing until fully incorporated.
  5. Fold in the sour cream and cocoa powder until the mixture is completely blended.
  6. Pour the cream cheese mixture over the crust, spreading it evenly.
  7. Bake for 35-40 minutes or until the center is set.
  8. Allow the bars to cool completely before refrigerating for at least 4 hours to firm up.
  9. Top with cherry pie filling and sprinkle chocolate chips on top before serving.

Notes

For a little crunch, sprinkle toasted nuts on top before serving.
