- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 bag frozen tater tots
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook the ground beef and chopped onion in a skillet over medium heat until browned and crumbly. Drain excess fat.
- Mix the cream of mushroom soup, frozen mixed vegetables, salt, and pepper into the beef and onion mixture.
- Spread the beef mixture evenly into a greased baking dish.
- Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the beef layer.
- Arrange the frozen tater tots in a single layer on top of the cheese.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes, until the tater tots are golden brown and crispy.
- Cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
For a lighter version, swap ground beef for turkey or chicken. Add chopped green onions or fresh parsley for garnish.
